Prior to founding the agency, Ungar worked as a marketer, league representative, event promoter and business leader at the highest levels of professional sports. He is an attorney and a member of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and the Sports Lawyers Association. In 2020, Ungar earned the Professional Certified Marketer Certification from AMA.
His experience in sports business, personal branding, media training and endorsements, as well as agents, sponsorships and legal issues, led him to author “Sponsorship Strategy: Practical Approaches to Powerful Sponsorship” as well as his previous book “Ahead of the Game: What Every Athlete Needs to Know About Sports Business.”
Ungar has worked with several marquis brands on sports sponsorships and endorsements, including Bridgestone-Firestone, Coca-Cola, Disney, General Motors, Honda, Acura, Jim Beam, Microsoft, Reebok, and more.
